UK Chain Pubs and Bars - A place of Entertainment

If you are a regular night tripper in the United Kingdom & you live near any major cities, you will be aware of the chains bars that are out there. By this they mean bars which operate under the same name, or are run by the same company. In this editorial they are going to give a brief overview of a number of Britain's top bars & pubs for going out & spending your evenings & weekends in!

JD Wetherspoon
Wetherspoons, or "spoons" as it is sometimes affectionately known, is a staple part of any persons drinking diet - young or elderly! The chain does not have an entertainment license so you won't listen to any music in its bars, and in the event you are watching sport you will find that this is silent. This is not a controversy however as Wetherspoons manages to generate a friendly and communal atmosphere, making it the ideal place to start a night out.
In term of the food & drink on offer - it is of the lowest priced places around, with a lovely choice of alcoholic drinks & a first rate menu. Definitely worth a visit in the event you have never been before.

Yates
Yates is similar to Wetherspoons in what is offered - a similar range of food and drink but they DO have an entertainment license meaning the bars turn in to clubs later on in the night. To my knowledge they seldom charge entrance fee and don't open until the early hours but they are usually busy at night with loud music and a packed dance floor. It is a good place for fun and relaxing night out, and where you can stay for hours.

There are also lots of pub in UK that also offers franchise services such as Pubs for sale and Bars for Sale including foods and drinks. You can visit there to spend a delightful evening with your friends.
